She woke up early to "sing" happy birthday to Scott before we both left for work. Grenny and Papaw are here this week with Anna. They are having fun. Anna and I then made a cake for Baba. She enjoyed licking the batter and decorating with sprinkles. Happy Birthday Honey.....I love you very much!!

Peggy and Anna

We are three days into me being back at work and all is going well. Anna loves Cassandra and Braysen so much that she sees everyday as a big play day. I have done pretty well too. I cried all the way to work the first day back but have since done better. I am sooooooo ready for summer though. I miss being home with Anna so much. Only 4 1/2 more weeks to go :). I am extremely tired though. Please continue to pray that all continues to go well and that we all have patience and endurance. Also please pray that Shriners accepts Anna as a patient. We were sponsored by the local Shriners and they sent our application to Chicago. Now we wait to hear from them. Please pray that we get accepted and that we get accepted soon!!!!

The pictures are from Saturday. Bethany had a picnic for the adoptive families and we finally got to go since we finally have Anna. It was so much fun. Anna loved it. They had horses she could ride...loved it. They had a petting zoo that she could pet all of the animals...loved it. They had a playground for her to play on...loved it. They had jump houses for her to jump in....didn't love it. Oh well she is learning. We all had a great time and are looking forward to next year.

Going back to work

Well the day has come for me to go back to work and I'm very sad. I don't want to go back. I'm having so much fun with Anna watching her learn and grow everyday and blossoming into such a wonderful, sweet little girl. God has truly blessed us beyond what we could ever have imagined. I have truly enjoyed the time I have had home with her. The good thing is I only have a few weeks till summer break and then I'll get to be home again. Please pray for me and for Anna and for Scott as we go through this adjustment. Our dear friend Cassandra is watching Anna so I have absolutely no worries. She is going to be in great hands. I'm just sad and will miss her while I'm at work. Enjoy the pictures from the park. Scott and Anna and I went the other day. She is getting more brave with the swing. She didn't like it up until the other day when we went. Anna and I met some ladies from church and their children and went to another park today. This one has sand. Anna has been once and she really didn't care for sand at all. That has changed. Today she saw Brayson digging in the sand and she went right over there and joined in. She had a ball. She was upset with me when I told her it was time to leave. She was having so much fun. I'm so proud of my little girl for trying new things and growing so much. One other sweet thing. This morning before we went to the park, I was crying because of having to go back to work and leaving Anna. I was holding/hugging Anna and she started to wipe the tears off my face. She has such a sweet heart. We're blessed.

Baba and Anna Easter morning "I think there is something in here"

Look at all the eggs just lying around Farmer girl in my overalls and on the tractor

Having fun at the Ag museum "You want me to ride this thing?"

God is good. This has been the best Easter ever. God has so greatly blessed us. We has such a wonderful Easter weekend. We went to the Ag Museum Saturday morning for an Easter Egg Hunt. They had free pony rides, free train rides, free carousel rides and free hot dogs! Plus we were outside which Anna loved. She however didn't care too much for the Easter Bunny. We then went out in the country with our good friends David and Cassandra. Their family had a big cookout. We had so much fun. Cass's dad has a mule that Anna rode with Mrs. Cassandra. She was such a brave little girl. Plus she got to hunt Easter Eggs with Brayson. She understood it pretty much although she kept trying to take Brayson's eggs but he was such a good sport about it and shared his eggs with Anna.

We went to church this morning. Anna was all dressed up in her fru fru dress. She really liked getting all dressed up. Such a girly girl. We kept her with us in the service and she did pretty good. She loved the music. At one point Scott tapped me on the shoulder and I looked and Anna had her hand raised in the air. It was so sweet. It touched my heart. I truly believe she was worshipping the Lord in her little way. She wasn't trying to be silly or waving or playing, she had her hand in the air and was worshipping. Hey if the "rocks will cry out the praises of the Lord" so will our sweet baby girl. Enjoy the pictures.

Camera Woes and Rudolph nose

See my red nose?
Who is this "Rudolph" that y'all keep calling me?
"Mom, Someone is in my chair!"
Aw we match....isn't that sweet.
Sittin' pretty
Preview of my beautiful Easter dress
"I know I'm a pretty princess"
"Mom, Can't you see I'm busy eating my Cheerios?"

Well our camera is acting up. We bought a new digital camera before we left for China and found out it literally eats batteries. So we use it sparingly and we tried to use the old one more. Well we took both of the cameras to China and the old one got dropped. While it still takes pictures, we can't see the pictures till we download them because when the camera dropped, the screen busted. So we don't know when the battery is low either. We went on a picnic the other day and to our surprise the battery was dead on the old camera so no pictures from that camera. Then the other day we discovered the new camera (that eats through batteries) won't come on half of the time and when it does it doesn't want to take pictures and when it happens to take a picture, it won't let you view the pictures. It freezes. So no pictures of the picnic from that camera either. So I'm sick and tired of them both. Life goes by too fast and there are too many precious pictures that we have missed because of our two sorry cameras. So I see camera shopping in our future. Maybe for Mother's Day?

Now the red nose part. Anna had a little fall the other day. We were about to head out the door to go Easter dress Hunting. Nana got all the granddaughter's a green dress for Easter and Anna's was too big. I can't believe how many people do not have green Easter dresses. So I thought of two other places we could go. Baba had taken Anna outside with him to put some mail in the mailbox. Well Anna got tripped up and went down face first......OUCH. She now has a red nose and a little scratch on her head. Just in time for Easter pictures :). Scott felt horrible but it was an accident. So she is fine now just a red nose and a new nickname....rudolph. By the way we finally found a green dress at a fru fru shop that really sells beauty pagent dresses but had some Easter dresses too. Anna loves it and so do we. She looks like a little princess.
