Our bums are numb but we are here

We have never been so happy to be off a plane. We have now been up for 29 hours straight. Well Scott got about 2 hours of sleep but not me. All of our planes were on time, easy take off and landing and the best part all of our luggage made the trip with us :).

We got some really cool video of the Alaskan mountains. They were incredible. We are going to put that on here tomorrow which will be later tonight for you all.

We found out from our guide that we are going to T-Square and Forbidden City tomorrow morning. We meet our guide at 9:30 after we have exchanged money, showered and eaten breakfast and somewhere in there got some sleep. Because here it is 11:00 p.m.

Oh and the beds are rock HARD!! but not as hard as the seats on an airplane .....and tonight I don't think that'll be a problem. Two more days till we get our baby girl. Of course I cried on every flight because we were getting closer and closer to her. When we touched down in Beijing we both cried because we were in our daugther's homeland.............FINALLY.

That's it for now. Please leave a comment. We really would like to hear from you while we are half way around the world.

Love you all,
Scott and Shelley in Beijing China :)

I am smiling and crying...I so know that feeling...you are in Anna's country. You are so close (yet, so far). Try to take a moment, savor the sights, enjoy the people, appreciate the beauty of the country. China is lovely. Enjoy...Heather (MDMOM from Bethany)

You don't know me but we were in the September Bethany group and I have followed you journey since this summer. Congratulations on this long journey almost ending. Can't wait to see pictures of you and your family finally together. We had a three year wait and it was soooo worth it to have our little Carissa in our home. Each child seems to be a perfect fit for each family and it is amazing how God works all of that out in our lives. Enjoy your time in China. It will go fast and you will want to go back as soon as you get home. Especially have fun in Guangzhou and buy lots of squeeky shoes. They are a hit with everyone.
